Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

Highy detailed map of the Belgian Congo Region, published by the Societe Belge de Misions Protestantes au Congo.

The map includes a list of the 24 different Protestant Societies then active in the region, along with the location of the Centers of each mission.

The map is annotated in English, showing the travels of an early owner of the map, starting at the mouth of the Congo River and proceeding up the Congo River to the Kasai Sankuru, to the Methodics Episcopal Congo Mission (and specifically the Wembo Niama Center, which is circled. The manuscript notes reach to Tanganyika.
