Fascinating sketch showing the plans for a proposed pipeline in the Cucamonga Wash, intended to delivery water to trains serving the Southern California Railroad.

Includes a sketch and profile views of the proposed water line and trestles in the Cucamonga Wash near Zanja Creek in North Redlands.

The Zanja Creek, in the Redlands / Mentone area, was the site of an early bridge on the Southern Pacific Railroad line to San Timoteo Canyon. Located at the corner of Redlands Blvd. and Texas St., the Bridge was built in 1902.
