Detailed map of Penobscot County, Maine produced in 1895 for the Stuart's series of Sportsmans and Tourists guidebooks.

The map shows the county of Penobscot, including the many townships, roads, waterways, and railroads that run throughout the area. The map also shows notable cities like Bangor and Corinna. The map also includes the neighboring counties and where these boundary lines are.

Map hints at the timber industry that dominated the area during the early 20th century. Many plantations and lumber mills are illustrated, underscoring their contributions to the region's livelihood. Many of the region's waterways are home to a mill or industrial production center.
