Description
Rare separately issued map of San Francisco by Gus Schneider, USNR.
The map was apparently first issued as the cover artwork for a guide to San Francisco for a United Nations Conference in 1945.
The present example is a reduced-size version of the original. It was published for a clothier in San Francisco by the name of Hastings and includes a list of hotels and military services on the back side. We have also seen this map in black print.
