Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Early Real Estate of Hollywood

A nice map showing six homes along the intersection of Harper Ave. and Sunset Blvd in the recently expanded West Hollywood area of Los Angeles. This map was designed to sell property, so all the lots include measurements and the asking price.

A small blurb of text describes the neighborhood and how the Briggs company came to acquire the properties to develop. This is followed by several telephone numbers to call should one be interested in touring a lot. There is a logo for the Briggs Company that states they deal in Real estate, loans, and insurance while listing their office's address.

Overall, this map is a small piece of Hollywood history that shows the area in a developing stage where major streets and neighborhoods were still being defined and constructed.

Condition Description

Light annotations above the neatlines. "SOLD" stamped in purple. Very slight wear where folded.
