Description

Fantastic three-dimensional relief map of Montana produced to advertise Montana's own Great Falls Select beer.

The map shows the topography of the "vacationland" state in three dimensions, raising the hills and lowering the valleys. Major roads, cities, lakes, and other features are shown. The continental divide is traced with red dots.

The map advertises that:

This is a map of a vacation paradise, Montana. This scenic state drapes itself over the continental divide and sweeps eastward across high plains broken by rivers and colorful badlands. A great state, home of a truly great beer . . . Great Falls Select . . . First in Sales in Montana

Great Falls Select was brewed in Great Falls from 1933 until its purchase by Blitz-Weinhard and moved to Portland in 1968. The beer was eventually discontinued in the late 1970s.
