Description

Lively pictorial map of Napa Valley, California, by Earl Thollander.

This is one of the earlier modern pictorial views to promote Napa Valley, extending from Calistoga, Chateau Montelena and the Mud Baths to the town of Napa and Carbone Winery.

In addition to the early California Wineries (Christian Brothers, Beringer, Freemark Abbey, Krug, Sutter Home, Mondavi, Beaulieu, Inglenook, Vintatge, Mayacama, Cuvaison, Souverain, Heitz, etc.), some other places of interest are named, including the Wine Library, Veterans Home, Olive Oil Factory, Robert Lewis Stevenson Museum and Hurd Candle Factory.
