Description

Fantastic early-1990s pictorial map of Southern California, stretching from Santa Barbara to the Mexican border and inland to Big Bear Lake.

The map shows the many attractions of Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, Irvine, Palm Springs, and all of Southern California. Various humorous features appear throughout, with an oversized bison standing atop Catalina and what appears to be a self-portrait of the author with a lover in the lower left. The map's Mexican geography is not the most accurate. Ensenada is shown at the border, immediately adjacent to Tijuana and Tecate.

This map was published by MetroGuide and designed by Ross Anzalone.
