Description
Rare birdseye view of Florence, published in Paris by Jean Boisseau.
Two keys (numbers and letters) locating over 30 places of importance on the map, along with an extensive hand-written Latin note along the bottom of the view.
Rare general panorama published the Théâtre des Citez de Jean Boisseau. The beautiful view is accompanied by 32 references in the legend. Jean Boisseau's Theatrum is one of the rarest collections of views ever published in France.
Condition Description
A number of small marginal tears have been expertly restored on verso. One tear at center, extending into the map, expertly repaired on verso, with minor reinstatement in facsimile.
