Description

Fascinating vintage map of the state of Florida advertising Silver Springs, one of the state's oldest tourist attractions that has been drawing visitors since before the Civil War.

The map shows the roads of the State of Florida, along with an interesting series of five insets that show how to get to Silver Springs from any part of the country, showing roads in an interesting branch-like configuration. Various other advertisements for the state of Florida appear.

The verso depicts the many attractions of Silver Springs, including its famous "glass bottom boat ride." The front cover of the map reads "Florida's Silver Springs the Favorite Family Resort."
