Description

Attractive color-lithographed map of Florida featuring the lines and connections of the Florida East Coast Railway, the so-called Flagler System.

The map includes the following insets: Map of Florida and the West Indies, Map of Cuba, and the Bahamas.

The map shows a connection to Cuba through the Key West and to the Bahamas through Miami. 

This map was published with similar titles going back to at least 1894, and was published into the 1920s. According to the Touchton Map Library, this edition was published in 1914.

For three decades this map was how most people visiting Florida found their way through the state.

Folding map. Few small holes at fold intersections, along with some minor tape stain. (See image west of Daytona.)
