Description
Scarce Lindgren Brothers map, covering Glacier National Park and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
The map is one of the earlier "Hysterical" maps, having been published in 1938.
The map features the typical Lindgren humor, some of it inappropriate by modern standards ("Is his race red" - of the winking Native American in the compass rose).
There is a reference to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which was released one year before the map: "Where the mountains are 'Snow White' and you're the dwarf."
This is one of the scarcer Lindgren Brothers maps, this being the first time we have had it in over 25 years of business.
