Description
Soviet Propaganda Map of the Battle of Moscow.
Color-printed Russian-language map of the Battle of Moscow, presented in the form of two maps: one of the German advance to the outskirts of the capital, and the other of the decisive Soviet counter-assault of late 1941-early 1942.
Though not as famous as the Soviet victory at Stalingrad, the Soviet Union survived a more dire situation in 1941, when the Red Army barely withstood Nazi Germany's attempt to capture Moscow.
The map includes a detailed key describing troop movements and enumerations of numbers of forces involved, etc.
