Description

Birdseye view style map of the lines of the San Diego Electric Railway Company and San Diego & Southeastern Railway Company in San Diego, on the eve of the Panama-California Exposition of 1915-1917.

The map identifies the rail lines connecting the towns in San Diego County as far north as Mission Cliff Gardens, Ocean Beach and Foster, with lines extending south to Tijuana and Otay.

The map is accompanied by 8 photographic vignettes showing sites from around town. The timetable on the verso notes the fairs for various trips, including longer trips by rail and wagon to Alpine, Warner Hot Springs and Julian.
