Highly detailed map of Utah, focusing on the post roads and postal details as of June 1899.

All the post offices and discontinued post offices in Utah are noted.

The routes on the map are color coded to note delivery schedules, including:

  • Purple: Six times a week
  • Blue: Three times a week
  • Yellow: Twice a week
  • Pink: Once a week
  • Dashed Line: Special Supply
  • Black Line: Mail Messenger

The map also notes Electric and Cable Cars and Rural free delivery routes.

E.B. Morgan was an avid Coloradan collector and a former president of the Colorado Historical Society.

The earliest recorded Post Route Map of Utah would appear to be the 1896 edition.
