Description

Rare map of France which appeared in Boisseau's Tresor des carte Geographiques, published in Paris.

Boisseau's atlas is based upon Jansson's Atlas Minor of 1628. While the atlas was published in 1643, this map curiously bears the date 1641 and may in fact have been issued earlier than 1643.

This is the first example of this map we have seen on the market.
