The map shows the line of the Florence and Cripple Creek Railroad, and Midland Terminal Railway.

The map shows town plans and streets for Cripple Creek, Grassy, Atlman, Hull City, Lawrence, Mound City, Anaconda, Arequa and Victor.

Some of the named roads include Florence Wagon Road, Canon City Wagon Road, Colorado Springs Wagon Road and Hayden Divide Wagon Road.

A fine mining map showing the numerous claims in the Cripple Creek Mining District of El Paso County. The map was issued by the Evening Telegraph of Colorado Springs and compiled from official surveys by Edward S. Snell, U.S. Deputy Mineral Surveyor.

The map is quite rare on the market. This is the only example of the map we have ever seen on the market.

Condition Description
Generally very good, except three areas of image loss: two small areas along the neatline and a larger section at the bottom left. Professionally backed with tissue to stabilize the map, along with a few minor pencil notations and two damp stains at lower right.
