Description
Fine early large format map of Dakota Territory, published in St. Paul by Rice.
The earliest edition of the map which we could locate was 1872 and the map seems to have been updated regularly, as we note editions of 1874, 1875 and 1878, all of which are very rare.
There are significant changs over the years, most notably the addition of counties and the continuation of the State Survey work.
