Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Fine early road map of Imperial County, issued shortly after the creation of the County.

Dating

The map shows the All American Canal as under construction. Construction began in 1934. It also shows the planned site for the Imperial Dam. Dam construction began in 1936 and was completed in 1938. The map cover shows a black dot, which was a distinctive feature adopted for almost all Auto Club map covers printed between 1934 and 1938.
