Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Remarkable survey chart of San Pedro and Long Beach Harbors, by the Army Corps of Engineers.

The chart includes lots of detail and offers a rare look at the area before extensive development. Deanman's Island still shown as are several dock in the San Pedro around "Timm's Point". Main channel extend s into the Wilmington area with a large turning basin just off "Mormon Island". Dozens of place names and name of companies .

Rail and electric lines shown. In Long Beach is noted a Craig Shipbuilding company. Street grids shown, but no names. Shadows depict areas dredged or scheduled to be dredged.

A nice early map of the harbors.
