Scarce Revolutionary War battle plan of Trenton & Princeton, from Wilkinson's Memoirs of My Own Times, together with Atlas; Diagrams and Plans Illustrative of the Principal Battles and Military Affairs Treated In Memoirs of My Own Times.
The map includes a detailed plan of of the area from the Delaware River northward, showing the theater of war between Princeton and Trenton, during the two decisive weeks in late December 1776 to January 3, 1777. The map identifies Washington's Route, the Road to McKinley's Ferry, and the positions of Cadwallader, Dickinson and Rutherford, the Hessian surrender, Princeton College, the Turnpike Road, Scott Lawson & the Parkers of Virginia and Hand's Riflemen.
This is the first time we've had the map in nearly 20 years.
