Description
Decorative example of De Jode's rare map of Spain, from his Speculum Orbis Terrarum.
The map was engraved by Joannes and Lucas Van Deutecum and includes sea monsters, sailing ships and an ornate coat of arms.
Condition Description
Old color. Extensive repairs within the image, mostly caused by the oxidation of the old colors, with some areas of loss.
