Description

A nice example of William Berry's exceedingly rare 2 sheet map of Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, and adjoining regions. While known to have been bound up as a composite atlas, the maps were typically issued separately and are extremely rare on the market. This is a nice wide margined example, a bit toned and backed with Japan paper to support the old color, but in all a very nice example of this remarkable rarity. Gorgeous cartouche and full wash color.
