Scarce map of the Cripple Creek mining region, highlighting the area being promoted by the Cripple Creek Free Mining and Milling Company, which was organized in 1899.

The map highlights the towns of Gold Field, Cripple Creek, Victor, Gillette and other small towns in the area and show the routes of the Cripple Creek Railroad and Colorado Springs Railroad. Other towns and mines depicted include Moon Anchor, Pharmacist, Golden Treasure, Doctor Jack Pot, Gilt, Portland, Elkton, Gold Coin, Chicolo and El Paso.
