Description
Rare locally published map of Seattle, drawn by Anderson Brothers in Seattle in 1886 and published by Lowman & Hanford, Stationery & Printing Co.
This scarce map was published at the direction of the Washington Territorial Legislature. It references County Seats, Towns & Villages, County Boundaries, Railroads completed and projected, and iIndian Reservations in the key and includes topographical details, rivers, mountains, and the results of the early General Land Office Township Surveys in the Territory.
Several Military Forts and Camps are located, and at least one Indian Agency.
A nice example of this scarce early map, comissioned by the Territorial Legislture of Washington Territory.
