Rare promotional guide and railroad map of the mid-continent, extending from Omaha and Kansas City in the East to Helena, Butte, Lovells, Bonanza City, Blackfoot,, Ogden, St. George and the mining districts of Southwestern Colorado, centered on Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.

A rare and highly detailed map, which shows extraordinary detail, with railroads, stations, towns, mines and mining districts, cattle grazing, timber, wild game and other information throughout the map.

Only two examples of the map have been located and the pamphlet is not in Howes. Graff 3818 and Howes S563 list only the edition of 1879 (and edition of 1878 also exists, which is not recorded).
