Description

Very rare map of the Roman Empire, with a large inset of the region around Rome, engraved by (Jacopo Giuseppe?) Ruphon.

The map was first issued by Michael Van Lochum in Paris, circa 1640 and dedicated to Armand de Bourbon, Prince of Conti.

Condition Description
Trimmed to neatline and laid on larger sheet of contemporary paper, with very large margins
