Description
Rare decorative postal route map of Italy, from Felix Delamarch and Charles Dien. What makes the map most unusual is that it appears to be issued on a re-worked plate from the late 18th Century, exhibiting a style and appearance which was not typical of the period in which the map was issued.
The map is quite rare. We were not able to find any reference to the map and this is the only map credited to Dien that we have seen.
