Description

Interesting large format topographical map of Yosemite Valley, published by the United States Geological Survey. Extends from Morraine Dome, Cascade Cliffs and Starr King Meadows at the east end of Little Yosemite Valley to the Coulterville Road the Old Blacksmith Shop on the Merced River. Centered on Lower Yosemite Falls and Yosemite Valley. Highly detailed, including topographical details. Lots of interesting early details, including the Mail Carrier's Lodge, Toolhouse and other places which no longer appear on maps. A bit of chipping in the lower left corner. Linen backed and never folded.
