If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

This map by Valk and Schenk depicts the Bishopric of Tarragona, a historical region in northeastern Spain, in the province of Zaragoza. It is richly detailed, showing various cities, towns, rivers, and topographical features. The map is adorned with decorative elements, including cherubs holding the title cartouche in the upper right corner. Major cities such as Tarazona, Calatayud, and Tudela are highlighted in red.

Condition Description

Original hand-color in outline. Engraving on 17th-century laid paper. Minor dampstain in the margins.
