Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Interesting retrograde map of North America, illustrating the cartographic features of the continent roughly 30 years prior to the 1830 date.

Includes the mythical River of the West and details in the Pacific Northwest which are more consistent with the period immediately after Vancouver's voyages.

Port de Ft. Drake is shown, but the discovery of San Francisco Bay, which was first mapped in England by Dalrymple in the 1790s, is not yet shown.

Oddly shaped Dakotah and no sign of West Virginia. An excellent map of pre-Civil War North America. A wide margined example in vivid color. This is the rare 1859 edition which bears Johnson & Browning's imprint, shortly before they created their own New Illustrated Family Atlas of the World. Classical Colton decorative border.
