Includes information regarding the course of the flow of the Ocean in the Indian Ocean and South China Sea. Excellent detail throughout, including nice detail in Tibet. Many towns, mountains, rivers, islands and other features named. This map was included in Harris' seminal Navigantorum, one of the great Mid-18th Century works on the contemporary explorations of the World. Issued in Harris' Navigantorum, one of the best English language compilations of early voyages of the 18th Century. A fine example in wash color.
